Born and raised in Adelaide, Imogen ranked in the top three percent of the state upon completion of her year 12 studies and was included on the South Australian Merit list for a perfect score in Psychology. She was also awarded the Dux for her studies in Drama, Psychology, History and the Humanities. Imogen went on to nurture her academic flair by completing a double degree in Psychology and Arts (Drama and History) at the Flinders University of South Australia.
During her time at university, Imogen successfully gained entry into the two-year Flinders Drama workshop stream, performed in an improvisational group at the Adelaide Fringe and in several theatre productions – including The Crucible playing Abigail Williams (G&T Productions) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream playing Titania (UATG) – as well as working as a voice-over artist. She also travelled extensively throughout Europe during this time.
Upon completion of her degrees – BA and BBSc (Psych) – Imogen followed her dream of studying at NIDA and successfully auditioned in 2013. Since moving to Sydney, Imogen has spent time outside of NIDA fostering her local community through volunteering her creative and social skill sets.
