Anthony King

Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance

Born in England, raised in Sydney, Anthony’s passion for acting began at a young age. With a natural flair for talking too much at school, his Mum decided to put his talents to good use, and threw him into drama classes.

Whilst at high school, Anthony performed in numerous school plays and musicals, and graduated 1st in Drama. In 2015 he was one of 20 students selected across NSW to participate in Sydney Theatre Company's inaugural Young Wharfie’s Program, working with Andrew Upton and Paige Rattray.

Whilst at NIDA, Anthony had the opportunity to work under the guidance of directors and coaches such as Les Chantery, Jennifer Hagan, Phillip Quast and Dr. Egil Kipste.

Stage and Screen credits include lead roles in: A Murder is Announced (Genesian Theatre), The Show That Smells (NIDA), Registered (Short & Sweet 2018), The Connoisseur (Liz Lau Studio).

Anthony is also currently shooting a Mockumentary Web Series with other NIDA graduates.

Anthony is committed to pursuing his acting career both at home and abroad.
