MFA (Cultural Leadership)
Yasmin Masri is an artist, creative producer and curator, living and working between Canberra (Ngunawal and Ngambri land) and Sydney (Guringai land). Yasmin has previously worked on events including: the DESIGN Canberra festival, the Australian Ceramics Triennale and the London Design Biennale. She has also taught craft and design subjects at the ANU School of Art and the Canberra Institute of Technology. Currently, Yasmin works as Curator (Place and Programs) at Molonglo.
Outside of this, Yasmin is a co-founder and co-director of both rip publishing (a platform for cross-disciplinary storytelling) and Noted (Canberra’s emerging and experimental writers’ festival). She is also a founding member of Lady Producer Gang and, through this collective, participated in the 2017-2018 Next Wave Kickstart Helix program.
